Legal and Fiscal Assistance

The registration of local partners in Mozambique (NGOs, associations, foundations, CBOs, and others) is a formal legal step, allowing them to acquire legal personality and thus become capable of possessing rights and obligations and of entering into legally binding contracts under various funding mechanisms. Thus local partners must comply with national laws and requirements (both legal and fiscal) regardless of the substantive work they do.
