The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation acknowledged the significance of developing effective communication and advocacy strategies as a crucial element of its resource mobilisation efforts. To achieve this goal, Plug-in. Mz provided support in the development of internal and external communication tools. The consultancy team conducted an in-depth mapping exercise to understand the gaps, challenges, and opportunities the organisation faces in pursuing a more vital institutional role in advocacy and communications. The mapping exercise identified the key audiences, activities, and deliverables, and several documents and communication tools were produced. On-the-job training sessions were prepared and conducted with staff and senior management to solicit input, build ownership of the tools, and ensure the successful implementation of communication and advocacy strategies across all teams.
